ENN, l’un des principaux fournisseurs d’énergie en Chine, utilise la technologie blockchain pour suivre l’approvisionnement en gaz naturel. ENN Energy Holdings envisage d’exploiter la technologie VeChainThor pour répondre aux besoins en énergie de 94,57 millions de personnes dans 187 villes de Chine.
L’objectif étant d’exercer un meilleur contrôle de la qualité et une meilleure gestion de la chaîne logistique.
La VeChain Foundation collabore avec ENN et Shanghai State depuis 2018 pour développer une solution basée sur la blockchain permettant de suivre l’approvisionnement en gaz naturel liquéfié (GNL). Le directeur général adjoint du groupe du commerce intérieur à ENN, Tao Zhou, a récemment présenté les détails de la coopération.

La Fondation a révélé que les données relatives à la chaîne d’approvisionnement d’ENN sont stockées avec précision et efficacité grâce à la blockchain, à l’aide des technologies IoT et de VeChainThor.
Le processus est expliqué dans “VeChain Foundation’s Partner Update and Spotlight Series”:
“ À l’arrivée, le gaz sera injecté dans différents réservoirs. À partir de là, chaque réservoir de gaz se verra attribuer un numéro, associé aux données pertinentes stockées dans la blockchain. Une fois acheminés par camion aux détaillants, les informations logistiques et les rapports sur la qualité du GNL seront également téléchargés dans la blockchain.”
Zhou a parlé à VeChain de la manière dont VeChainThor Blockchain a apporté de la valeur au groupe ENN Energy Trading.

Zhou reste positif à propos de l’ensemble du développement et envisage même d’exécuter des plans similaires à plus grande échelle.
ENN a l’intention de transformer le terminal méthanier de Zhoushan en un modèle pour ses futurs déploiements. L’objectif est d’étendre sa capacité d’envoi de 60 camions par jour, soit 400 camions par jour.
Zhou prévoit en outre de mettre en œuvre un modèle similaire dans 20 autres terminaux en Chine.
De plus, ENN ne souhaite pas limiter les possibilités d’utilisation de VeChainThor au GNL, mais envisage plutôt d’introduire des implémentations similaires dans d’autres domaines connexes tels que l’énergie thermique, les énergies renouvelables, le pétrole et le gaz, et pourrait même introduire un modèle similaire dans le domaine des banques et sociétés de prêt hypothécaire.
Il n’est pas surprenant que VeChain soit déployé dans ce secteur, car il s’efforce depuis plusieurs années de fournir un outil utile et pratique aux entreprises.
Alors que les scénarios commerciaux continuent à se développer avec l’adoption de la technologie blockchain, VeChain se positionne comme un changeur de jeu sur le terrain, comblant de manière efficace le fossé entre le commerce et la technologie.
