Microsoft n’est pas novice dans la blockchain. En fait, elle a été la première entreprise à introduire la blockchain pour les services cloud avec Microsoft Azure en 2015. Mais maintenant, elle est prête à franchir une nouvelle étape importante en connectant un plus grand nombre de ses services – y compris des services majeurs comme Office 365 Outlook, Salesforce, SharePoint Online, Dynamics 365 CRM Online, Twitter et SAP – à la blockchain.
Comment cela fonctionnera-t-il ?
Selon les rapports, l’entreprise prévoit de permettre aux utilisateurs de déplacer leurs données de ces plates-formes vers le cloud d’où elles peuvent être transférées sur une blockchain.
Bien que la société n’ait pas encore publié de déclaration officielle à ce sujet, des rumeurs ont été confirmées par Matt Kerner, le directeur général de Microsoft Azure.
Mais pourquoi Microsoft prend-il cette mesure ?
C’est dû aux avantages offerts par blockchain. La mise en place de Microsoft Azure sur le réseau de la blockchain a permis à l’entreprise de réaliser à quel point la blockchain peut être sécurisée et rapide.
Selon l’entreprise, blockchain permet de collecter et de gérer les données à grande échelle sans risque de perte. Microsoft a donc décidé d’intégrer certains de ses outils dans son nouveau service, Azure Blockchain Workbench.
Le service a été introduit pour faciliter la création d’applications en blockchain. Selon Kerner, tout cela fait partie de l’évolution du Big Data.

La « Blockchain permet de passer à l’étape suivante, à savoir la mise en place d’un ensemble de données unique et authentique partagée entre les contreparties. Cela améliore déjà la façon dont les transactions se déroulent. Nous pensons qu’il en sera de même pour l’analyse des données. »

L’information est une ressource vitale pour les entreprises. Il peut être utilisé pour analyser les tendances, élaborer de solides stratégies de marketing et même créer de nouveaux programmes.
La Blockchain facilite l’analyse des données car il fournit aux utilisateurs des données formatées et structurées. Il n’est donc plus nécessaire de le formater et de le structurer manuellement.
M. Kerner espère que d’autres entreprises bénéficieront bientôt de ce service.
